1-800 Contacts' Checkout UX

This is a usability benchmark of the checkout experience of 1-800 Contacts and 99 other sites. The overall performance of 1-800 Contacts is decent.

It is especially a state of the art Navigation, state of the art Flow, and decent Layout that helps 1-800 Contacts' checkout UX. Do, however, watch out for their broken Focus performance.

All 100 sites were benchmarked across the 63 guidelines from the E-Commerce Checkout usability study. During our evaluation, 1-800 Contacts' checkout process adhered to 39 usability guidelines, violated 14, and scored neutral on 5 occasions, while a remaining 5 guidelines weren’t applicable.
