McDonald’s E-Commerce UX

This is a case study of McDonald’s e-commerce user experience (UX) performance. It’s based on an exhaustive performance review of 5 design elements. 243 other sites have also been benchmarked for a complete picture of the e-commerce UX landscape.

McDonald’s overall e-commerce UX performance is mediocre. Some of McDonald’s biggest UX issues are caused by broken Mobile App On-Site Search, Mobile App Menu Item Pages, and Mobile App Homepage & Category Navigation performances. That said, their site performs great within Mobile App Accounts & Self-Service.
